Course Description
A practical course designed to give the student the necessary skills to become 
proficient in the area of manicuring, artificial nails and pedicures.

Student Learning Outcomes
1.	Communication - Use listening and verbal skills with clients and co-workers.
2.	Critical Thinking and Problem Solving - Evaluate service situations on an 
individual client basis utilizing problem solving skills
3.	Technology - Use appropriate cosmetology implements in all service areas.
4. 	Personal Responsibility - Use learned skills in safety and sanitary procedures 
both in personal and public health

General Course Objectives
At the end of the course the student will be able to do:

1.	A complete manicure.
2.	A complete hot oil manicure.
3.	Apply all forms of artificial nails.
4.	Remove all forms of artificial nails.
5.	A basic pedicure.
6.	Perform all safety, sanitary and first aid steps involved in the practice of 
manicuring.
